Project Overview

Zentrio is a Chilean startup in early stage. They are creating an AI driven Health App for cronic patients, to help them track their habits, their health indicators, and get advice and insights from the AI to help them improve their life

Translate their target users need into Design

They had a logo and branding done and they also had lots of data and investigation of their target audience, but couldn't translate it into a mobile app.

• Translate their research into user personas, to know the user and their needs.
• Create a Design System to align app, website and brand.
• Redesign the logo, to make it easier to read and to remember.
• Create a handoff process based on prototipes, documentation and QA sessions.
• Design the whole UI of the mobile app

Knowing our target users

• After research the team decided to focus on two main profiles: Cronic patients and pre cronic patiens.
• The team made research about chilean patients, their technology knowladge, their context, health habits, social and economic factors and more.
• Benchmarked health apps, including fitness, woman health, sleep and training apps.

Three pillars of the design

• Visual identity Friendly, casual, approachable. These concept dictated our colors and the way the AI talked.
• Home & navigation: Simple and clean. You get a glimpse of your health by just opening the app.
• Clear metrics: You get clean metrics with simple messages to understand your health and how are you progressing.
• AI driven journeys: To help patients register their foods, habits, activities and metrics with the help of AI.
• An AI to support you on every step: Zentrio AI is friendly and always supportive, giving you advice, discovering patterns and helping you on everyday basis.

From concept to full design

• The concept UI was well received by directors, implemented and used for user testing with over 50 real patients, who used the app in their life for two months.
• The findings of this research improved design and help the team to join new venture groups.

Building on the momentum

• Design System: Building a scalable component library in collaboration with Engineering.
• User Testing: Validate and refine key user journeys with real customers.
• Implementation: Collaborate closely under tight timelines to bring the full experience to life.
